ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us at Nashville’s historic Loveless Cafe for an intimate evening of stories and songs from some of your favorite musical artists including Walker Hayes.
By supporting Melodies for Minds, a partnership with Dr. Daniel Amen, MD, and his organization, the Change Your Brain Foundation, you will be actively contributing to our mission by making a profound impact on the lives of those in need.
100% of the proceeds from this event will be dedicated to a joint scholarship fund with the Amen Clinic that provides comprehensive mental health assessments, brain scans (SPECT), diagnoses, treatment plans, and counseling services for up to one year.

ABOUT THE REFUGE CENTER
The Refuge Center for Counseling exists to offer excellent, accessible, and affordable mental and emotional healthcare services in support of a transformational impact on communities. Opening in December 2005 as the vision of its founders, Amy Alexander and Jennifer Thames-Hamilton, there was a strong desire to serve their area of residence—Williamson County—which is recognized for its wealth, oftentimes overshadowing those who are in need. The Refuge Center’s mission was clear from the beginning—to offer affordable, professional counseling services in order to empower, educate and support individuals, couples and families. Closing in on almost 20 years of Refuge, we have provided over 300,000 counseling sessions (up to 89% of sessions provided on a sliding scale), serve more than 4,000 clients a year, and have over 70 counselors offering modalities such as EMDR, Group Therapy, Neurofeedback, Music Therapy, Theraplay, Brainspotting, Art Therapy, CBT, and much more in order to treat a wide variety of issues. The Refuge Center is currently in the midst of a Capital Campaign and building a brand new, holistic counseling facility (to be completed in Late 2024) that would extend and expand its reach and and double the amount of children and teens seen per week.
