Following a whirlwind year of sold-out shows and viral stand-up moments, breakout comedian Matt Mathews has officially crossed a major milestone—selling over 135,000 tickets on his nationwide Boujee On A Budget Tour. With nearly every date sold out and multiple second shows added in various markets, the demand indicates that he is on track to surpass his previous record of selling 150,000 tickets on his first tour.

Today, Mathews announced the addition of a second early show at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium on December 27, following incredible fan demand for the original date. Both Ryman shows will feature a special live taping, giving fans a chance to be part of Mathews’ next major project. After adding second shows across multiple markets, Mathews has also announced three additional shows alongside the Ryman performance in Memphis (September 13 at Graceland Soundstage), Tucson (November 9 at Rialto Theatre), and Fort Worth (November 20 at Will Rogers Auditorium) to meet overwhelming demand across the tour.

With over 1 billion views across social media and 12 million followers, Mathews has become one of comedy’s most in-demand rising stars. His raw, relatable humor—drawn from life as a boudoir photographer, proud Alabamian, and LGBTQ+ trailblazer—has earned him viral acclaim and a fiercely devoted fanbase. The Live Nation promoted Boujee On A Budget Tour, which launched earlier last year, has now expanded to 86 shows and counting and is on track to be one of most successful comedy runs of 2025.

Mathews’ debut music album, Matt Mathews, is set to release later this year, following the success of his already-released singles, “What a War” and “Joke’s On Me,” which dropped earlier this spring. He recently previewed the project during a standout industry showcase at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, drawing widespread praise from music insiders and fans alike.

TICKETS: Tickets for the newly added shows will be available starting with an artist presale beginning Thursday, May 29th. General on-sale beginning Friday, May 30th at 10 AM local time on LiveNation.com
