Southern Gospel Halftime Show Airs This Sunday Night on TV and Streaming Platforms
Christian music fans can enjoy a special hour of music and encouragement this Sunday from 8:00–9:00 PM Eastern when the Southern Gospel Halftime Show airs on The Word Network, Heartland, and Singing News TV.
Presented by the Singing at Sea, The World’s Largest Southern Gospel Music Cruise, the Southern Gospel Halftime Show brings together some of the most well-known and loved voices in Southern Gospel music for an uplifting night of songs, stories, and faith.
The program features Karen Peck & New River, a seven-time GRAMMY®–nominated group and one of the most awarded acts in Southern Gospel music, known for their dozens of number-one songs and powerful ministry. Viewers will also hear from fan favorite Gold City Quartet and The Inspirations, who were recognized with 9 Singing News Fan Awards in 2025. Rounding out the lineup are Jeff & Sheri Easter, whose heartfelt songs and personal testimonies have earned them multiple Dove Awards and appearances on many Gaither Homecoming videos. Also appearing are The Hoppers, often called the First Family of Gospel Music, a Gospel Music Hall of Fame family group whose music has encouraged audiences for more than 60 years.
The Southern Gospel Halftime Show is hosted by Jonathan Wilburn, who guides viewers through the program with warmth, conversation, and a love for gospel music.
